If you don’t want the app to launch automatically at start up, click on ‘Auto Start ON’ next to ‘Recorder launch options’ and switch it off. Youll have to remember to flick that back to ON before you start a call you wish to record. If you don’t want it recording all of your Skype and wish to start recordings manually, open the app and click on the big OFF button at the top of the screen. MP3 Skype Recorder will – by default – load every time you fire up the PC and sit in the background waiting for a Skype call to be made/received, and which point it starts recording automatically. If you’re running Windows 10, it doesn’t matter which version you choose, but those on older versions of Windows will need Skype for Desktop.
